- DESCRIPTION DAC 2018Data Analysis Competition (DAC) as part of “Pekan Raya Statistika 2018” event, is a competition of student-level data analysis in Southeast Asia that aiming students to explore and sharpen their ability in the field of data analysis that are expected can be applied in daily activities. The ability to analyze data, think critically and be able to solve the existing problems in the community will increase knowledge about applications of Statistics in particular. The expected output from this stage is the analysis of the participants can be published to the public, for example through the web and social media of PRS 2018, so it can be used as a base in formulating the problems of construction and development company that own creative industries, especially in the Southeast Asia.
- THEMEData Analysis Competition (DAC) 2018 is carrying theme "Statistical Analysis in Digital Business". The usage of statistical modeling has increased dramatically in digital-based business over the last few decades. Seeing the development of digital-based business is increasing rapidly, through data analysis is expected to give a positive impact on the business both to consumers in terms of user experience and companies in determining the future strategy.
Registration: Jan 1st, 2018 - Feb 17th, 2018
Preliminary: Feb 26th, 2018 - March 8th, 2018
Semifinal: April 21st, 2018
Final: April 22nd, 2018
